More Misc..... - 4.0 hrs

This is actually a weekend update. I had Derek this weekend so I was in a out at different times. And it was HOT! Original plan was to get the EFIS reinstalled however they did not include the new trim ring in with the EFIS. It looks great as they updated the software to the newest version.

I need to get the ring to make sure how much to enlarge the hole to insert from the front. I hope it works. If not I will just reinstall from the rear and hope for the best. I got the top skin painted flat black. Then I shot the front under with the cabin color of Dark Bronze.

I installed the skin to see where the GPS antennas will go. I found 2 rubber grommets to insert in the holes I use to pass the cables thru the top. I can put the cables thru the grommet and drop them thru holes drilled in the top skin in front of the antennas close to the front edge of the windscreen and then snap the grommets in place. I found some round velcro that will hole the antennas in place.

I installed the windscreen to see how the antennas would look. Next I installed the hoses on the heat muff to take some pictures to send to Robbins Heat muffs to get a new one made. I cut the old on in half and with the hoses hooked up I was able to get the correct offset of the inlet to outlet configuration. I snapped a few pics to send to Robbins. Next I installed the cowling for clearance.

With the cowling in place I checked the baffles for clearance. Next will be to install the rubber seals and check for fit.
