Finish Kit Update August 2012 Updates August 12, 2012 Putting the Bird back together...... - 6.0 hrs Another long day in 100 plus heat. Started out the morning cleaning out the tail section. 8 years of buildup back there during construction. Vaccumed out all the dust and looked everything over before closeing up the bulkhead. I had one stick on tiewrap point that came loose so reinstalled a new one and tiewrapped the static tube to it. Moved on to the baggage area and installed the flap rod covers. Then the carpet. Moving to the seat pan area. Lots of buildup in this area. Started installing the screws. Had to take lots of breaks for water. Installed the Kogar sunscreen and tapped the holes for the velcro pieces that holds the shade in the forward position. Almost got the seat pans completed but rain out of gas. ITs just too freakin HOT! This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
