Finish Kit Update August 2012 Updates August 11, 2012 The Inspection...... - 8.0 hrs Today was the big day. Inspector emailed me last night that he could start earlier so I got to the hangar at 7am. Got the doors opened up and airing out. Michael showed up at 8am and got started. Went pretty smooth and then he found an error that I had forgotten all about. It was the right elevator. When making the rolled forward leading edges I must of caught and edge and bent the skin too much causing a crease. Bottom line is I will have to order the skins and stiffeners and redo the right eleveator. I hope Vans will ship the parts out quickly.
