Wheel Pants.... - 2.0 hrs

Even though the area I cut yesterday will work the tire hole is still too tight. I used a rough grit pad on the diegrider and a 2 inch flapper wheel to cut out somemore of the wheel area to get clearance from the tire.

After several attempts it is starting to fit much better. Next I clecoed into place and test fit the lower intersection fairings. Man these fairings from Bob Snedecker fit really nice. Sure beats having to mold things out of clay and doing layups.

Next I moved onto the left side. Same process. Drew a center line down the top of the front and back pieces of the wheelpants. I used the right side dimensions to get the wheel hole marked. Cut it out using the same process and then test fit to get the gear hole marked.
