More Misc..... - 4.0 hrs

More loose ends complete. Worked on the alternate air cable today. It was tough trying to find a good place for this. Tried to locate it down low to keep it out of the way. Tried to mount it in a forward fuselage stiffener next to my left knee. Just not enough room there. Next was next to the throttle quadrant to the right of the flap switch. The problem here was routing the cable under the panel across all the wire harnesses and rudder pedals. No joy.

Settled just above the parking brake cable knob. I will get a label from ACS for it and it will be done. This worked out to be a straight shot to the firewall and then down a bit. Exit was right next to the mixture and prop control cables. I used a cable safe exit from ACS. I need to wait to get the AFS EFIS reinstalled before I put the lock nuts on and then it will be complete.

Next I put some yellow electrical tape around the fuse hose I wanted to tiewrap the wiring to the RED CUBE. This is the fuel flow sensor that feeds data to the engine analyzer. The firesleeve is probably sufficent but the tape is just a bit more protection in case vibration tries to chafe the firesleeve.

Next I primed the top skin. Then a couple of coats of flat black. I hate the way flat black looks. Hard to get a good finish. Not sure if this is final yet.
