Baffle Material Install and New Flap Controller ..... - 3.0 hrs

Today I finished the baffle material on the front baffle structure in preparation of first engine start. I made a paper template to mark on the rubber material. I needed to make it in 2 pieces to allow the baffle to be removed.

Once I cut out the rubber and test fit I drilled the holes in the aluminum and then followed up with holes in the rubber and clecoed in place. I had to rivet to test the fit as the clecos got in the way. Should fit fine though so I pop riveted in place and fit the top cowl piece in place. I had to trim the side material in the front to get the top to fit good.

Next I found the ShowPlanes flap controller like Jim has in my cabinet. I got it out and started figuring out which wires from the existing switch I could use and if I needed another wire run. Turns out I need one more.
