Time to get back to work!.... - 5.0 hrs

Finally got power back at the hangar. Between no power and the mosquito infestation since the storm there was no way to get anything done on the plane lately. In addition to working on getting back into our offices back at work.

It felt good to get back to work on the plane today. I spent the first few hours cleaning up the hangar and trying to get somewhat organized again. I bought some new trays for screws and labeled them as I put them in the trays. I had some stuff I ordered lately that kept getting misplaced so this will help.

Next I decided I need to start planning tasks to get done. First I removed the canopy and then the frame. I am taking the frame home to prepare and paint it black. Next I put the windscreen in place to see what I need to trim off next. Today I wanted to get the brake lines done from the brake calipers to the bottom of the fuselage. I ran the lines and made the big loop at the wheels. Flared each end and I actually remembered to put the fittings on before I made the flares. First time on each side for a change!

As I was leaving for the day I drove past the Eclipse Jet that is back at Weiser. Sure seems strange to see a jet on this airport. Very quiet on take off and landing also. I bet the neighbors don't even know when it comes in.
