Engine Update September 2008 Updates September 13, 2008 WOW.... Hurricane IKE was Here.... - 0.0 hrs Well IKE came to town. I didn't have any damage at the house except for the pine tree in the front yard. On Saturday morning about 8am when the winds died down enough to get out I headed over to Weiser to see the damage. I was torn between going but needed to see for sure if the hangar made it. When I pulled in the front gate I saw the first 2 planes parked out front and I felt better. Then I saw the hangar right in front of my hangar. The entire top was torn off halfway up the walls. Those of us on the back row against the fence did not get any damage. My front doors pushed in a bit even with all the extra bracing. We were very lucky. I don't know how the planes that were tied down outside made it. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
