Cowl Work.... - 5.0 hrs

No building the last 2 weeks. Lots going on at work and went to Costa Rica last weekend. Today was our monthly RV Builders group meeting. Kevin moved it to West Houston this week. We met at the airport and then we all drove over to Clays for burgers. There was really no reason to meet at West Houston as no one flew in. Jim was a no show. He has a new girlfriend so he is ignoring his plane. Bixby forgot about it so he would of flown his 8 in for it. Geoff left his 8 at Sportflyers. Phil has the new paint job to show off and he no showed. Even Marshall drove over and always flys in. Pretty depressing when all of the flying guys choose to drive in. Whats up guys.... build em to sit in the hangar. COME ON lets get flying!

Overall it was a great get together. We found out that Geoff hates the airforce and thinks it is just a big high priced flying club. :) just kidding Geoff we love ya man.

When we left Clays Jon came by the hangar to help me work on the cowl. After marking, removing and triming and doing it all again about 20 times I think we finally got it. Just a little bit more sanding with the long board and I think it will be time to drill the camstrips and get them installed on the lower cowl.
