Fuselage June 2008 Updates

More Misc.... - 2.0 hrs

Tonight was not enough time to get back on the tail or the canopy so I just worked on some little things in the engine area.

First off I put the cotter pins on the mixture linkage bolts.

Next I worked on the sniffle valve. Vetterman recommends you remote mount a piece of tubing back away from the exhaust. I put the right rear cylinder exhaust on to measure clearance. Cut some rubber tubing to length from the sniffle valve and used hose clamps per the instructions. I clamped the tubing at the rear to dump between the 2 exhaust pipes. Should keep it really tight.

At the end it was one of those sunsets that I wish I would of caught a little sooner.
