Work on Jon's RV4.... - 0.0 hrs

Today was payback day. I wanted to help Jon rivet his fuse on the 4. Jon has helped me off and on during my build and it was time for some payback.

It was fun gettin back to some rivet work. Man working on this 4 sure makes you appreciate the new match drilled kits from Van's. It also shows you all the work that the older kits had to get into. Jon sure has his hands full with this after building a 6 quick build kit.

It sure makes you wonder how the guys did it back in the old days. A guy stopped by the hangar yesterday that was the builder of the 4th RV 3 to ever fly. He said all he got in the kit was instructions and fiberglass pieces. Now thats building bubba.

I took some pics during the process. Mainly it shows the clecos going down during the course of the day. We worked 7.5 hours with maybe a half hour brake for lunch. Man was I tired after.
