Canopy Latch.... - 2.0 hrs

Worked some more on the canopy latch. I was able to get the brass bushing by polishing up the handle shaft with the scotchbrite pad on the die grinder. Just kept doing it until it slipped on.

Had to bend the latch some more and take a bit more of the part that goes around the stud that is welded into the roll bar. It is still pulling the frame to much but I need to wait until the glass is on so I can see how much of a load to put on it.

I am going to paint the latch black to match the canopy frame and roll bar. The handle will be saftey red. I have seen one done that way and it looks sharp.

Jim K came by and then John after replacing the tires and brakes on his "8". Only because they felt guilty for doing a half assed flyby the night before and then never stopping to visit. :)
