More Baffle Work.... - 5.0 hrs

Today I got to the airport early and started working on the baffles again. I needed to trim a bit more just to be able to get both cowls on to see how close I am on fit around the baffles. So far it still will not fit.

While I was working here comes Wiley in the Decathlon giving a lesson and when they turned in front of my hangar I notice Phil is flying for his BFR. So I had to go down and suck up some A/C and see what they were up to. Once he was signed up Wiley had another student so Phil came by and helped me out for a while.

We finally got the bottom cowl on and I still had to trim a bunch more along the top and back edges to get the top to fit. Even then it still takes more. I can't tell you how many times I have installed and removed these baffle pieces.

It got so hot that I had to call it a day. Even though I got it to fit there are still some more areas that need to be cut down.
