Engine Update January 2009 Updates

More Cowling Work.... - 2.0 hrs
Got off work and straight to the hangar. Cold... but had to do it. Fired up the heater and started to work.
I removed the strip on the right side and rebent the tabs even more on the cam strip. Reinstalled and it fit much better. Next I removed the other side and did the same thing. While I was doing this I looked at the seam where the 2 halves come together and it looked great. I then had the idea to cleco the strip to the outside to see how the tabs followed the curve of the cowl.
I reinstalled it and looks good as well. I think I will try and tweak it some more to get a better fit but this is definate progress. Next I will do some sanding on the back edges as well to get a good fit there as well.
