More VS fiberglass and Canopy Drilling.... - 2.0 hrs

Mixed up some more epoxy and microballoons to a think paste and filled in the end of the VS tip. This makes a smooth face on the rear of the tip that faces the counter weight on the rudder.

While that was setting up I moved on to the canopy. I trimmed more off the front edge and then drilled the rest of the holes to 1/4 inch. After I deburred each one to make sure there is no chance of micro cracks that may start and get larger.

Jim stopped by to checkout my crack. He is going to fix me up with some Weldon #3 in the next few days.

Last I drilled out the holes in the frame to #30 to get prepared for painting.
