Fuselage August 2008 Updates August 14, 2008 Hose Clamp Standoffs.... - 2.0 hrs Well between work and my messed up elbow I have not been able to get anything done on the plane. Tonight I needed to do something light so I fabbed up a couple of standoffs to mount the hose clamps for the hose that connects the prop gov to the prop hub. I finally found the part number for the steel piece used for fabbing up the rudder pedal links. Tried to find it at Lowes and Depot but theirs was too think. Ordered some more from Vans so I can use this one for the standoffs. Didn't take long to make them but it was a bitch getting them on the bolts on oil sump and then even harder to get the clamps bolted in place. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
