Fuselage August 2008 Updates August 03, 2008 More Canopy Work.... - 4.0 hrs Couldn't get much done on the plane today. I hurt my elbow again and have to go get another shot in it tommorrow. Today was making up a stiff structure to allow trimming and shapeing and drilling off the plane at a better angle. I used some 4x4's on top of the canopy crate. I used a hand held sander to work on the edges. Looks like they will work fine. I also trimmed the plastic back and used masking tape to keep a clean edge. Some of the plastic was peeling off and the plastic dust was sticking to it. I just peeled that stuff off and replaced with masking tape. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
