Stopped by the machine shop to get the bracket slotted. The guy I talked to last week hooked me up while I waited. Turns out he is a pilot and lives in Katy. Getting his BFR at MVP to get current and start flying again. Small world huh. He gave his card and said next time I need something like this done to call him as he could do it in his garage at home.

Got to the hangar after work and installed the bracket and lined up the pullys. Sweet. Then I went to bend the idler bar. NOT. This stuff is stiff. Took it home and bent it on the vise with a dead blow hammer. Worked out I think. Won't know for sure until after I go test it out at the hangar.

Mike stopped by so we talked shop for a while. Then I opened up the spinner kit to prepare it for the prop install. Need to get the prop on to work on the cowl next. Turns out you have to cut a weird ass hole in the spinner bulkhead to fit around prop hub. This is more than I can get into tonight so I just checked for the correct parts bags and will do this next time.

I think I will get the rest of the exhaust hangars in place, engine wiring complete and then spinner. At that point I can do the cowl which is going to be a big project in itself.
