New Exhaust and Static Plumbing.... - 3.0 hrs

When I got home from work the new Vetterman Exhaust had arrived. Man is this a thing of beauty. It looks like a piece of jewelry. I love stainless welds. Only problem is they forgot to include the install kit. No hanging brackets.

Anyway first I starting plumbing up the static ports on the instruments. Got that done and pulled the bird out in front of the hangar. Did a quick cleanup with the vacuum. Powered up the panel and took a few pics to show how well it shows up in the sunlight. Then I as the sun went down to see how things adjust for night vision. A 172 landed and I made a radio call to check the SL-30 Comm since I had not checked it since the final install. The guys said it sounded GREAT!

Next I started fitting up the exhaust on the #2 and #4 cylinders per Larry's instructions. He made a not that says the quick drain oil fitting will be in the way of #4 pipe. You can see from the pic it will hit so I will remove that plug in the side and install it there.

I need to wait until the hangar kit comes anyway so I will move that next time.
