Taking off the Ryton Sump.... - 2.0 hrs

I couldn't talk Derek into coming to the hangar today so I just worked for little bit taking stuff off to make the sump switch. I started by taking a close up pic of the fuel injector for when I do the AD on the gasket replacement. I got an email from Alan from Precision that he was going to put a gasket in the mail to me before he left Friday for Sun-n-Fun.

I also got the exhaust sent off to Vetterman on Friday. Next I removed the intake pipes from the sump. I took some pics from the bottom with everything clear and open.

Next I reinstalled the hose clamps on the new intake pipes with the new rubber hoses.

Last I drained out the storage oil. There was not that much in there to drain. This stuff is a really sticky type of oil more like an STP. Very think and sticky. I used tiewraps on the FI to keep the spacer adapter in place. Tomorrow after work I will drop the sump and install the new one.
