Empennage September Updates September 8, 2004 Started the Rudder! Started work on the rudder stiffeners. I marked up each stiffener to cut the slant using the band saw. There are 8 stiffeners on each side. Watching all those episodes of American Chopper have got me in the fabrication mode. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft. My experiences and comments are by no means to be considered as instructions on how to build any aircraft.
