Trim Tab
I deceided to go ahead and get the trim tab done since it required some more of the tab bending. This thing is small but it still took alot of time.
As before I used the same 1x8 that I used to make the bend in the tabs on the left elevator. This skin is a bit thiner but it still took a bit of work since it is so small. I then clecoed everything together and clamped the hinge in place.
It is all riveted together except for the top row along the hinge line. I talked to Gary today and he brought up a good point. What keeps all these wires from getting abrasion when all of this is together and is moving back and forth. Since the servo is in the elevator and wires have to pass thru to the horizontal stab and then into the fuselage. I guess I better get out the plans and check that out.
Well I am coming up to the finish line on the elevators now. Time to mix up the proseal and do the final riveting and close up these suckers!

needed to certify my aircraft. My experiences and comments are by no means to be
considered as instructions on how to build any aircraft.
