Empennage November Updates

Left Elevator

Completed the dimpling and priming of the frame parts. Mounted the servo brackets to the access coverplate. Had to grind out part of the opening to get the servo in and out of the access hole.

Next I looked at whiskeybravo.com again to figure out how to bend the tabs that line up to the trim tab. I would have never figured this stuff out without the internet. They guys that used to do this without it are the real engineering geniuses. Thanks to Jim Smith I was able to get it done.

Last I riveted the frame and am ready to put the skins on both elevators. Time to get out the proseal.
